Ep8 - Troll 2 (James)
Tuesday Oct 08, 2013
Tuesday Oct 08, 2013
There once was a boy, whose named happened to be Roy, though he was decidedly not from Nantucket. In a smelly rage, he one day hiked up his kilt and, against the wishes of his great-gran, Meredith, went to see that old wizard about whom everyone seemed very generally uncomfortable. The hut on the lonesome hill was dank with a treasonous perfume, but Roy was made of the patriotic stuff. The wizard started out of bed, his single eye wild to behold the boy. "Why have you come, boy?" the old man asked. Roy responded, "I have brought you the newest episode of the FUAR podcast. It's quite good, as they have attempted to review Troll 2." The old man smiled and beckoned with the half a finger he had left. "Well, what are you waiting for then? Put it on!"

Ep7 - Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (Steven and guests 3!)
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
Special guests Dan and Mark from fellow YouTubers 3exclamationpoint have brought to the table our first anime, the latest Dragon Ball Z theatrical release, bringing everyone out from under the rock, especially DBZ newbies Ryan and Michael. The epic tale of the God of Destruction's weakness for Japanese cuisine gets put through the ringer by the FUAR crew, who deconstruct the series' incessant need to one-up itself, the movie's seemingly random side story, and The Bingo Dance, all culminating in a rousing, original take on the DBZ theme song.
Thanks so much to Dan and Mark! Check out 3exclamationpoint!

Ep6 - Wall Street (Ryan)
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
Ryan introduces the crew to the Oliver Stone, stock market-centric classic, and in the process, all of them learn that they know absolutely nothing about the stock market. That doesn't stop Ryan from setting up an official FUAR investments and holdings company, though it does keep James, Steven, and Michael from EVEN MODERATELY SUCCEEDING AT IT.
Double dose of FUAR coming next week. Hope you guys are ready.

Ep5 - Twin Peaks (Michael)
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
Wednesday Oct 02, 2013
FIRE! FIRE! Now that I have your attention, TWIN PEAKS! TWIN PEAKS! The cult classic goes through the rigor and rigamarole of the incredible, incredulous FUAR crew. The challenge is a bit different this weak, making for an episode with nearly as many non-sequiturs as the crazy show itself, including Steven's memories of some chick, Ryan's fondness for "the good ol' days," and James' secret love of Ryan Gosling.
Shout out to our sponsors.

Ep4 - Sneakers (Ryan)
Tuesday Oct 01, 2013
Tuesday Oct 01, 2013
Ryan "Win-by-default" Evans decided to pick the 90s heist-comedy Sneakers to round out this first cycle of FUAR episodes - a movie about which he remembers virtually nothing! Relish in the suspense as he and the crew find out what Robert Redford was up to in the 90s! Cherish the heartwarming moments, such as when Stuben wonders how a blind person manages to make direct eye contact with every other character! You couldn't ask for anything more from another fine edition of From Under a Rock!

Ep3 - Big Trouble in LIttle China (Steven)
Tuesday Sep 03, 2013
Tuesday Sep 03, 2013
The epic trilogy concludes with a surprising twist ending! (Spoiler: there will be more than three episodes.) Having crushed the Tim Curry impression challenge, Steven has selected the Kurt Russell-starring, fish-out-of-water, screwball action-comedy Big Trouble in Little China. Will the Fantastic FUAR be able to look past this movie's insane shortcomings and boner jokes? Listen to find out, and remember, "It's all in the reflexes!"

Ep2 - The Rocky Horror Picture Show (James)
Thursday Aug 29, 2013
Thursday Aug 29, 2013
The FUAR crew is back in full effect for the sequel to their epic premiere. In this episode, the gang tackles the cult classic that started them all, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (selected by James). The cadre talks the Time Warp, Tim Curry's award-winning (?) performance, and tops it all off with possibly the most daring challenge yet!

Ep1 - Bulworth (Michael)
Thursday Aug 22, 2013
Thursday Aug 22, 2013
Welcome to the premiere episode of From Under a Rock, the podcast where we free one another from the rocks under which we've been living. In this episode, Michael kicks us off with the political comedy Bulworth, which Ryan, James, and Steven had not seen. Does Warren Beatty's side project stand up to the rest of his storied career? Do Bulworth's political preachings get in the way of its humor? Will Steven be pleased with the DVD's aspect ratios? All this and more on this week's FUAR.
